A Level and BTEC Results Day 2024

Congratulations to Ashton Park School Post 16 students!

Ashton Park School is pleased to announce strong results for our sixth form students. Congratulations to our students, their families, and our dedicated staff on these accomplishments.

As a fully inclusive community focused sixth form that is open to all young people regardless of background or prior attainment we are extremely proud of the results our students achieved. The overwhelming majority secured their first choice for the next steps for their life from studying medicine at university to an apprenticeship with Porsche. We are committed to providing unique educational opportunities that distinguish us from other institutions. This year’s results reflect not only the hard work and determination of our students but also our commitment to providing an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

We take pride in welcoming students who may not have gained entry to other institutions due to their previous academic records. Through their perseverance and our tailored support, they have achieved remarkable success, earning A Level and BTEC qualifications that pave the way for exciting future opportunities.

Our A level outcomes were what our young people needed for the next step of their journey and their next destination.  BTEC results were very strong with a 100% pass rate and a large proportion of all grades awarded a Distinction Star or Distinction.

Many subjects achieved excellent results this year, with our Art and Photography departments standing out in particular. Their results continue to exceed the national average. The quality of the final pieces produced by our students was exceptional, and will be showcased at the upcoming South Bristol Art Trail.

Rowena Hector, The Head of Sixth Form commented, “We are proud of our broad curriculum and inclusive offer that allows students to succeed in such a wide variety of subjects from a range of starting points. This has been a fantastic, hard working year group.”

Richard Uffendell, Headtecher of Ashton Park School said, “This group of young people have made a wonderful contribution to the life of our school and it is lovely to see them now celebrating such good outcomes that help them in their adult lives.  It has been a pleasure working alongside them over the last two years and I wish them every success in the next stage of their lives. We hope they know they are always part of the Ashton Park school community.”
